Warnings Many of the accented characters used in non-USA keyboards require the XCS-ON command to get them to display properly.

On AP/DOS platforms, some extended characters will not be remapped when using the NATIVE keyboard.  If this condition arises, use the DOS keyboard (see the PICKNAT command for more information).

(R83) See the item called "kbrd.doc", in the "DOC" file on the "SYSPROG" account. It contains a detailed explanation for constructing keyboard definition items.
