| Description |
initiates the system real time clock.
This happens automatically during the boot process, provided a real time clock is present. If one is not present, the current time is requested from the person standing closest to the console. On D3/Unix systems, this command sets the D3 system date and time equal to the Unix system date and time, clearing up any discrepancies caused by "set-date" or "set-time" commands. |
