| Description |
backspaces the cursor.
A backspace moves the cursor back (left) one character and replaces the character with a blank. On ASCII terminals the backspace key actually generates a <ctrl>+h. If the cursor is at the end of an attribute, the character is deleted but not replaced with a blank. |
