NAME
       accton -  turns process accounting on or off

SYNOPSIS
       accton [ filename ]

DESCRIPTION
       accton   accountingfile  turns  on process accounting.  If
       called with no arguments, it will, by default,  stop  pro-
       cess accounting.

FILES
       /var/log/pacct
              The system wide process accounting file.
